Cebit Conferences and seminars are held throughout the whole week. Depending on your profession, time available at your disposal, budget, and languages you speak, you can choose from a wide variety of speakers who come to CeBIT to share their knowledge. You have to pay extra for the world leaders’ conferences, but the seminars are free.
Cebit Global Conferences
World-class leaders are invited every year to share their knowledge at the technology show. These super-stars come from a variety of backgrounds, but are mostly business-related. Examples include Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple Computer), Kevin Mitnick (world-famous hacker and now a specialist in computer security), Edward Snowden (computer analyst who leaked classified U.S. information, and who explained to the world how governments spy on the population), etc.
To be able to attend these conferences, you need a full event ticket, which costs more. Early bird offers are made every year, for those who want to attend, generally after summer. The savings, compared to buying the ticket near the show, can be several hundred euros. In 2016, the full event ticket bought right before the show was 1,000 Euros, whereas the early bird tickets sold between October and the end of December of 2015 were only 400 euros.

Cebit Seminars and Forums (Free)
As you walk around the halls, you will see plenty of speakers, who are talking about a variety of topics. Some of them are in English, but most are in German. They are all free to attend. The knowledge you can get is priceless. So, if you are interested, you can sit down and listen. To get the maximum out of these, it is recommended to stay for a couple of extra days, if you’re from outside Hannover.
